When you travel around the world and work with patients in different countries and communities, you come to the realization that many of us are blessed beyond measure and need to live everyday being thankful. To many around the world, Kidney failure is a death sentence. Neither option for dialysis nor that of a transplant available. Its a slow and painful death. to most of us, apart from our treatment options, we have the opportunity of a complete turn around with a transplant. This post is meant to encourage us to have hope even in our difficult times and to recognize that others in more dire conditions are still thankful.
